Que Sera Sera DJ Workshop Programme in partnership with AlphaTheta
Que Sera Sera, the pioneering all-women DJ lineup event, is proud to announce a transformative partnership with AlphaTheta, solidifying its evolution into a groundbreaking DJ Workshop Programme aimed at empowering female students across South African universities and campuses. Founded in April 2023 by agency Creative Director and DJ, Tsholo Rabotsho under TR Concepts, Que Sera Sera has quickly become a beacon of empowerment within the music industry, championing women DJs and fostering inclusivity. The initiative, now expanded into a DJ Workshop Programme, will travel to different educational institutions in and around South Africa, offering hands-on training in DJ skills to aspiring female DJs.
Que Sera Sera is more than just an event; it’s a movement. Curated by TR Concepts, Que Sera Sera began as a feminine-led sonic experience that launched in April 2023 and takes place every last Friday of the month in Johannesburg. The event boasts an all-women DJ line-up handpicked and scouted by Tsholo Rabotsho. When Tsholo began DJing in 2012, South African women who DJ were few and far between. No one ever expected that one day, women who DJ would run the music industry.
"We are thrilled to embark on this new chapter with AlphaTheta," said Tsholo Rabotsho, Founder of TR Concepts. "This partnership allows us to amplify our mission of empowering women through music. By providing practical DJ training, we aim to inspire and equip the next generation of female DJs to excel in their craft, break down barriers and pave the way for more inclusivity in the industry."
The Que Sera Sera DJ Workshop Programme will be led by a dynamic team including Project Manager Kamo Mailula, Vice Chair of Events at WomenInMusic South Africa; Logistics and Technical Lead Vitlhari La-Vita Mangwani; Katlego Mahlasela as PR Liason and Tsholo Rabotsho as Partnerships Lead. Together, they bring a wealth of experience, unique perspectives and passion for advancing women in music.
AlphaTheta, renowned for its cutting-edge DJ products, brings more than just sponsorship to the partnership.
The QSS DJ Workshop Programme aims to achieve 4 key pillars
1. Inspire: Inspiring a new generation of DJs who prioritize skill and creativity – how you begin sets the tone.
2. Discover: Discovering the perfect beat and your own style of DJing.
3. Community: Building a supportive community of both newcomers and experienced DJs alike.
4. Master: Encouraging the idead that mastery is crucial and allows you to whocase your style and performance with confidence.
Que Sera Sera and AlphaTheta invite women who are passionate about music and interested in DJing to seize this opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to the vibrant cultural and musical landscape of South Africa.

Bold: Breaking barriers, redefining music
Born in Lebowakgomo, Limpopo, and now thriving in Johannesburg, I’m a dynamic force in the music industry, driven by a deep love for house music. My journey began with a passion that evolved into a mission: not just moving to the beat but helping others find their groove. As an artist manager, DJ, and event coordinator, I’m constantly making waves in the industry. When not immersed in music, you might find me skydiving, bungee jumping, or reliving childhood at arcades and theme parks.
I tackle challenges head-on, finding solutions and calling in reinforcements when needed. My superpower? Sonic Therapy—bringing positive change to the industry by guiding DJs and producers or sharing music that resonates. In 2017, I co-founded “Women of Deep” to spotlight emerging female DJs, including talents like Desiree RSA. In 2021, I launched my own agency, managing Afro House/Afro Tech artists like Kasango, known for the global hit “OSAMA,” and rising star Masšh. I’m also the Vice Chair of Women in Music South Africa’s events committee and consult for upcoming independent artists.
My story is still unfolding, but my mission is clear: to create meaningful change and leave a lasting impact on the music industry, particularly for women.

I find inspiration from life and I am very passionate about the ever evolving social culture that requires us to constantly find different ways to connect with people. I am a firm believer in having people at the heart of the work that I do. If I can change even if it is ONE person’s life or perception, my job is done.
Over the last 8 years I have been in the South African Advertising industry, I have been fortunate to work with various brands in various sectors and industries I have worked with international and local clients in the Home & Beauty, mining & corporate, finance, media, food & health, automotive, beverage, retail, hair and hospitality industry. La Vita: The Experience
Hailing all the way from the capital city of Tshwane or rather known as “Pitori Mahalayeng”, my creative spirit has always been cultivated by the environment. From being introduced to sounds such as Barcadi and Broken Beats, to sneaking to House Music Events at Jack Buddha in Mamelodi, and hanging out at cipher sessions held at the State Theater every Friday afternoons influenced my passion for music and its culture.
My music career, or rather, my calling, officially began during my final year studying Strategic Communications at the University of Johannesburg. One of our final assignment briefs was #GOFind, which encouraged us to explore the passions we wanted to pursue in the future. At that time, my passion was music, and I knew I wanted to become a DJ. I always understood that music would be my platform to grow, empower, and impact not only myself but also those around me. Looking back, I can confidently say that my #GOFind journey has shaped me into a young expert in the music industry. While I wear many hats, there are a few accomplishments I'm particularly proud of—especially my international work.
More than anything, I pride myself on taking things in your own lane in your own race, because your dreams are valid.
